Overview
The Safety Planning Mini-Series is a live, three-session learning experience focused on effective safety planning.
This series centers on three critical areas that directly influences safety planning quality and decision-making:
- Leading difficult conversations in complex situations
- Supporting meaningful child participation in safety planning
- Determining when sufficient change has occured to close safely
Each session combines applied instruction with guided reflection and facilitated discussion grounded in real practice decisions.
Session three includes structured dialogue and Q&A with Susie Essex, Co-Founder of the Resolutions Approach, offering additional insight into engaging families and safety networks in complex cases.
This series provides structured, skill focused learning for professionals seeking to deepen clarity and confidence without the time commitment of a multi-day intensive.
Continuing Education
SafeGenerations is a certified continuing education provider. Continuing education credits will be available for Minnesota social workers. Participants must attend the full session time to receive credit.
